This Cookie Policy explains how VibeAssist uses cookies and similar client-side storage technologies (such as localStorage andsessionStorage) when you visit the Service.
1. What we store, and why
Everything we store on your device is strictly necessary to run the Service. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or cross-site trackers, and we do not sell your data. The complete list is:
- Authentication session (
localStorage, set by Supabase) — keeps you signed in between visits. Clearing it signs you out. sidebar_state(cookie, expires after 7 days) — remembers whether the navigation sidebar is expanded or collapsed, so the layout does not flicker on load.sidebar:*(localStorage) — remembers your last-opened project and which navigation groups you left open.
2. Third-party cookies
We do not run third-party analytics or advertising scripts on the Service. If you complete a purchase, our payment processor (Paddle) is responsible for its own checkout and may set cookies under its own privacy policy. Connecting GitHub or an AI assistant sends you to those providers’ own sign-in pages, which are governed by their policies.
3. Consent
Because we only store what is strictly necessary to deliver a service you have asked for, we do not display a consent banner. If we later introduce analytics or any non-essential storage, we will ask for your consent first and update this page.
4. Managing cookies
You can clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings, and block them entirely if you prefer. Blocking or clearing the authentication session will sign you out, and the Service cannot keep you signed in without it.
